ROSES Flow Diagrams

The ROSES flow diagrams are templates for recording the flow of articles through searching, screening, coding/meta-data extraction, data extraction, critical appraisal and synthesis for systematic reviews and systematic maps. They can be tailored by reviewers as necessary, but the templates constitute a minimum level of detail needed in any schematic of a review process.

ROSES forms and flow diagrams are provided under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licenses, meaning that you are free to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially).

To use these diagrams, please click on 'Download the flow diagram' and save a copy locally on your computer.

An online tool for producing ROSES flow diagrams for systematic maps and reviews is now available!
